بإشراف مديرة القسم الإبتدائي السيدة هيفا موزايا، ومتابعة الأب ربيع عون، اقامت مدرسة قدموس نشاط “يوم القرية العالمية” حيث قدم صفوف الرابع والخامس والسادس (انكليزي وفرنسي) عروضاً للرقص الفلكلوري، ومعلومات حول الجغرافيا، السكان، الثقافة، الأطباق والأزياء التقليدية لكل من لبنان، ايطاليا، فنلندا، غانا، بولندا، الصين، كوريا الجنوبية، ماليزيا، بروناي، فرنسا، ايرلندا، المغرب، مصر، وساحل العاج. حضر النشاط عدد من قادة وافراد القوات الدولية العاملة في جنوب لبنان وحشد من الأهالي. تخلل النشاط عروضاً وضيافة مأكولات خاصة بكتائب اليونفيل المشاركة في الحفل.
Under the supervision of the primary department director Mrs. Haifa Mozaya, and the follow up of Father Rabih Aoun, Cadmous College held its second Global Village Day at the outdoor sports playfield. In the event, students of grades 4, 5 and 6 performed folk dances, and delivered presentations about the geographies, populations, culture, ethnic cuisine, and traditional costumes of Lebanon, Italy, Finland, Ghana, Poland, China, South Korea, Malaysia, Brunei, France, and Ireland, Morocco, Egypt, and Ivory Coast. The event was attended by a group of UNIFIL contingents’ leaders and soldiers, along with a multitude of parents. Special performances and ethnic food were also delivered by the participating UNIFIL contingents.
